What Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin did with their bodies, Groucho Marx does with his words. There’s plenty of wonderful physical comedy as well in Duck Soup, but it’s the acrobatics, the flips and tumbles of those words that earn it a place on this list. If you don’t agree, I got a good mind to join a club and beat you over the head with it.
