I was really torn about whether I wanted to take the time so see this in the theater, now after reading your review I still don’t know. I love film so I love beautiful moving images on a screen but I also like a good plot to with it! I have been listening to the soundtrack over the past couple days and kind of love it… so I guess that’s one thing. Thanks for the great review.

I’ve been getting more and more excited for this as its release has been getting closer. I’m a big Cruise fan, and while I thought Tron: Legacy was pretty empty, I adored the visuals. I’ve been hoping for the best with this, but I’m anticipating another visual feast/emotional letdown.

  3. I agree with the confusion regarding the plot. I had to have parts of it explained to me. And, you’re spot-on with pop music needed to provide some sort of jolt or life to the film. I think that Tom Cruise is not to blame here. It seems like at least two different movies going on simultaneously. Great review!
