A great list that, with a few exceptions (e.g. Dumb and Dumber), features not only some of cinema’s funniest films but also some of its greatest. I would consider a few surprising exclusions from the top fifty to be American Graffiti, When Harry Met Sally, What’s Up, Doc?, Shakespeare in Love, and Toy Story.
Gotta agree with What’s Up Doc? Saw that for the first time this year and loved it. I’m extremely happy with How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb as #1, even though I completely spaced and left it off my submission list.
No Albert Brooks? Unforgivable!
