    Noah (2014) is a classic

I still very much stand by Clerks and Dogma, Mamma Mia! is fantastic and I love the entire Jackass film trilogy. Jackass: Number Two is currently in my all time top five sandwiched between 2001: A Space Odyssey and Chantal Akerman’s News from Home.

Also, I’m afraid David forgot to say “nice” after you guys established the year in which Medium Cool came out.

Quentin Tarantino recently was on The ReWatchables podcast for a few episodes, and the “King of New York” episode dropped several casting what-if’s about his movies. The relevant one here: he had Pam Grier hardcoded as Jackie, but was debating between Forster and JOHN SAXON for Max. He obvioulsly made the right call – though, i’ve never seen a quiet John Saxon performance, so maybe i’m wrong.

I wonder if John Saxon’s tiny role in From Dusk Till Dawn was a preemptive consolation prize.

Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl. I was very moved by it. I think the movie condemned the leads hipster detachment from emotions, and learned to be genuine and caring to his people. Go ‘head, judge me.

I’m a little late on this, but I like Ron Howard’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” It makes me laugh.
