I enjoyed this immensely. It was very “Siskel and Ebert”-esque. The only complaint that I had was, after listening to you for as long as I have, it was strange seeing your voices coming out of those bodies. It was like watching two horrific meat puppets with your voices. I also liked the perfect placement of the “Sex Lite”, “Lesbians” and “Transgender” sections over your shoulders. I’ve obviously been going to the wrong video stores my entire life.
Looks like we have a title for the video series. “Welcome to another episode of ‘Horrific Meat Puppets’.”
Great first episode guys. I’ve been listening to the podcast for a while and am desperately trying to catch up – currently on episode 90. However, I wanted 10 full minutes on the hunger games here. You’re just starting to get into an interesting discussion about the themes etc when you changed to bring in the guest and talk about other films. if you’re only doing 10 minute long video podcasts it would be cool to have it focused purely on one subject/film/topic
Have you seen 2009’s Polytechnique? Great movie about the 1989 Montreal Massacre.
