Bill Camp’s character in Passing was originally supposed to be played by Benedict Cumberbatch, and there’s an article about their problems funding the film when he couldn’t do it. After watching the film I watch Hall & Thompson discuss a scene he’s in and they mentioned an aspect of his character they treated as obvious (and relevant to the themes of the movie) which I had not picked up from watching the film. Perhaps the film was just too subtle for me.

I’m a bit younger than you guys, and I’ve been able to spend most of my adult life rather carefree. Not caring about things makes life simpler.
