Caught up to this episode today, and I’ve gotta say, you really sold me on Chef. Finally watched it and very glad I did. Then I went online to find out if there was a local place where I could get one of those Cubano sandwiches. There is an authentic Cuban restaurant very near my house! Once this ice storm clears, I am so there. Thanks for the recommendation.
I’m re-watching Mamet’s Spartan with the Val Kilmer commentary track right now. Two things I’m thinking of an hour in:
1) I wish this score were available to buy
2) Kilmer is hilariously deadpan, but he’s also got some really great insights on how films are made from an actor’s perspective
