I watched Funny Ha Ha because of IDMB’s mumblecore revisited episode. To me it resembled all the negative things people say about mumblecore. Support the Girls was a completely different story which I enjoyed a good deal. I guess Bujalski matured as a director.
I have never seen Frank Grillo in anything other than Boss Level, but I’ll agree with you that he’s not adept at cracking wise.
