Clayne Crawford was excellent on the series “Rectify”.
If there’s such a thing as a movie that is both good & boring, Day Night Day Night is it. I like to test others on how long it will take them to figure out the premise (and I recommend anyone listening skip over David “spoiling” that so they can have the same experience while watching). The lack of exposition makes it feel more “real”, even as it’s not audience friendly, because these people wouldn’t say “As you know” and then say something they all know.
There’s a 2019 interview MUBI did with Loktev in which she discusses the next movie she wants to make. She wasn’t optimistic about starting production soon, and I assume the pandemic just delayed things even more.
A one-word title is not exactly optimized for search engines, so I can see distributors pushing to rename “Fight”.
