    Dear Battleship Pretension,

As a bossy fan, I don’t appreciate being told I cannot make wild demands and dictate how you run the show. In short, you can’t tell me that I can’t tell you what to do.

I’m kidding of course, keep up the great work guys.

Wow, this conservapedia page is amazing! In the talk section of that great conservative movies article, they actually discuss why Brokeback Mountain is anti-homosexual!

I find it funny how when ever you guys have a topic such as offensive vs shocking, I always have completely different movies in mind than the ones you bring up. I had my mind stuck in controversial films more so. which I would love to hear if you think controversial is the same or different than shocking or Offensive. (controversial could be more studio)

Just some people I thought of that could be in the topic and reasons I think they could be are as follows.

Rob Zombie: He tends to do some really violent stuff that could be shocking. Devils rejects is like Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer In the way that it some what makes the bad guys more human or at least the main character of the movie.

Wes Craven: Last house on the left Had to be cut a lot for its shocking scenes.

Takashi Mike: Visitor Q(have not seen but heard), Ichi the killer And Audition are some I think could be shocking. With what I have heard of Visitor Q it could be Offensive as well.

Lucio Fulci: Has made some really gory films City of the living dead and Zombi 2 (Dawn of the dead was called Zombi in Europe)

George A. Romero: Even tho I was not born back then I would think that people were shocked when Night of the living dead came out or even dawn of the dead.

Dario Argento: has shocked many with his love for killing his female characters in such violent ways. Suspiria’s starting is perfect an example of what I am talking about.

    Michael Haneke/Lars Von: you know…

Bruno Mattei: Here’s someone for an offensive maybe. He made Jaws 5, T2 before the states made T2 and other rip offs. kinda like a uwe boll.

David Lynch: I have only seen blue velvet and that was pretty out there.

David Cronenberg: He started off shocking people with his stories and images that he has put on-screen. The fly being a good example.

    Some movies:
    I Spit on Your Grave
    Evil Dead
    The Exorcist
    Cannibal Holocaust

Looking at my list I see that most are shocking for the Violence they contain. Anyways I hope this is what you guys are looking for. I enjoyed the talk about john waters and Salo (Salo party just sounds dirty…is it just me?). Have you heard of the people I named? and what do you think?
