The song “Bodies” is by Drowning Pool, not Disturbed.
In the future, please feel free to consult me on all things nu-metal 🙂
You really need to watch “Rango.” It’s one of my favorites of the year along with “The Tree of Life” and “Drive.”
Two notes on cinematography:
1) THE ARTIST was shot in color and post-converted to black-and-white, as are most modern monochrome films (SIN CITY more obviously, but also THE MAN WHO WASN’T THERE). Still difficult, but a lot more wiggle room.
2) If you watch the behind-the-scenes bits for his last few films (ZODIAC and beyond) you’ll find that the dailies for Fincher’s films are nearly identical to the final product, because starting with ZODIAC, he shoots only on digital formats. So while the cinematography is arguably easier (Harris Savides asked Fincher why he bothered hiring him), it’s also more “pure” in a way – what they get on set is pretty much what’s in theaters.
