I’m glad “The Passion of Joan of Arc” was discussed. It’s my favorite silent film and means a great deal to me as a filmmaker. David I believe you have seen my short film based on its style. Have you seen Dreyer’s “Vampyr” made after? This is way ahead and far more chilling than most modern horror films. In addition it is great to hear Tyler liked “Ali: Fear Eats The Soul” this is a masterpiece and is not discussed enough. It came from Fassbinder’s love of “All That Heaven Allows” which is also great.
Glad to have you back Tyler. I enjoyed the episodes with David and the guest hosts but that’s just not Battleship Pretension.
Welcome back! This was the final straw for me: I’m gonna have to watch Red/White/Blue now.
