  1. I was so relieved to hear this discussion. I always thought it was just me who couldn’t remember particular scenes or details from movies. I think you’re right that more plot-heavy films (like Scott Pilgrim) are easier to remember than more abstract films (Brazil, Tree of Life).

I often feel ashamed over my shoddy memory of films, but now I feel better. Thanks.

Hey is the Itunes copy of this podcast corrupted or something? I’ve tried to download it on multiple devices and it keeps failing at the last minute.

Also love the show, most in-depth film podcast on the internet, featuring conversations that actually manage to get into their topics, rather than skirting the surfaces of substance

i really enjoy the charade of “oh, we don’t know what david does for a job”. it’s pretty obvious, especially if you’ve listened to BP for a while. so, we don’t have to keep pretending now. we all know that you, david bax, are a vigilante crimefighter.

i remember really liking this episode. but i don’t know if i could tell you all that much about it. something about malcolm gladwell. oh, and jiminy glick! felt good though. 🙂

You got me. Now you have to be my Robin, though. Or my Micro. Because obviously I’m The Punisher.

Yeah, I don’t remember anything either.

I’m actually amazed at how many times David can bring up specific movie quotes in the podcast. Tyler will mention a movie, David mentions he’s only seen it once years ago but still he remembers his favorite line from it perfectly.
