While I love to eat during a movie, and the Drafthouse offering fries is quite often too good to pass up, the element of their model that I find unconscionable is the in-theater waiter service, as they have to individually speak to each customer towards the end of the movie to settle the bill. Like, if that’s your business model, it is what it is, but especially in the context of them presenting the movie theater as some holy sanctuary where no disruptions will be tolerated…what’s the deal?
