The player for these episodes used to come with an option to download the mp3 file (the rightmost button with a cloud and a “down” arrow), but recently it’s just been adding a “#” to the url. The url of the file is still accessible via the RSS feed though.
The way Tyler said “when words mattered” when talking about older film criticism in his class made me wonder if the Dave Kehr collection When Movies Mattered is a part of the curriculum, which contains an incredible essay on Hitchcock’s evolution from Rope to Vertigo. God knows why they’re having you read Kael in a Hitchcock class, other than context. I’d love to hear which other books or readings were assigned.

This is the second comment we’ve gotten on this. I’ll forward it on to our host. Thanks!
Finally some proper discussion on the greatest actor of all time: Kurt Russell!! Keep up the Kurt talk!

Die Hard is already sort of the sequel to The Detective (starring Frank Sinatra), so no prequel is needed.
