Sounds like you guys were talking about a notorious John Simon article where he said Barbara Streisand had a face/nose that could inspire pogroms.

Loved hearing Camille on the show again. Her comparison of shooting the documentary to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle was fascinating, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard that comparison before! The more intrusive you are with your observational methods, the more you influence the phenomenon; the less intrusive you are, the more “accurate” the phenomenon is at the cost of knowing less about it. Or something.

As for agreeing with Tyler vs. David, I find more congruence with Tyler by and large, film-for-film. However, my end-of-year list usually looks more like David’s.

But c’mon, WONDER WOMAN has got some serious, serious 3rd act problems.

When Tyler and David disagree on a film, I usually agree with David 60% of the time, Tyler 30% of the time, and disagree with both of them 10% of the time.
