I believe the Christian band with a song about the Columbine myth is Flyleaf, with the song “Cassie”.
As Tyler mentioned, I was thinking of the Michael W. Smith song, “This Is Your Time.” But it’s not surprising that more than one act wrote a song about this story.

Just caught up with this episode. Y’all were talking about seeing people in concert right before they died. I saw Mitch Hedberg about three weeks before. Looking back now, he was clearly in bad shape. Still hilarious, because he always was. But he could barely stand. At one point he was lying on the floor telling jokes. Todd Glass was backstage, not performing that night. He came out and helped Mitch onto a stool. They played it off as a bit, but a few weeks later we realized it wasn’t. Damn, I miss that guy.
That’s really cool but also really sad! Hedberg was definitely one of the best. I got to see Bob Schimmel and feel lucky.
I mourn Mitch Hedberg to this day. He was my favorite.
