    The flights of fancy in JFK don’t bother me at all. I think the film is best seen as a portrait of a time where America lost its innocence and people lost faith in their government…on that level it’s very successful. Not a conspiracy guy but I can certainly relate to the feeling that the world is shaped by huge and potentially dark forces we will never fully comprehend — and JFK evokes that feeling incredibly well. And as Scott said, on a pure filmmaking/entertainment level it’s a hell of a movie
