In the S2 finale, when Alana enters Hannibal’s house with her gun drawn, he says something akin to “Just walk away–walk away, and I won’t kill you” or something like that. And then she pulls the trigger, but the gun is empty, then she runs upstairs, etc…
That “borrowed time” moment is one of my favorite scenes in the finale, btw! Mads delivers it perfectly.
