The Cast of Cthulhu: X: The Man with X-Ray Eyes
Is it accurate to describe X: The Man With X-Ray Eyes as “Cyclops but addicted to drugs?” Not entirely, but it’s a more accurate description than calling the pre-Haunted Castle Roger Corman flick “Lovecraftian.” Featuring Ray Milland as a man of science who gets more than he bargained for when he experiments on his own eyes, X: The Man with X-Ray Eyes, a low-budget, unofficial Invisible Man adaptation could greatly benefit from a contemporary update.

Beginning in March 2007, Battleship Pretension the show (known to fans simply as “BP”) embodies the type of laidback, free-flowing conversations had by lovers of film around the world. Battleship Pretension the website is dedicated to being a destination for those seeking worthwhile opinions on current releases, be they foreign, independent, studio pictures, theatrical, home video releases, etc. From its meager beginnings in Los Angeles, Battleship Pretension has amassed a worldwide audience and readership. From Germany to Korea to Australia, people have tuned in to share in Tyler and David’s love of film. As Battleship Pretension’s following continues to grow, the purpose remains the same: Reach out to the international cinephile community, invite them to join in the discussion and perhaps even start one of their own.
I never saw this one, but I did recently read that the film “Diary of a Madman” (starring Vincent Price, and I haven’t seen it either) was adapted from Guy de Maupassant’s “The Horla”, which H. P. Lovecraft discussed in his “Supernatural Horror in Literature”. So perhaps that’s one you guys could tackle in the future.
