Hockey all the way, baby! I’m not a fan of many things that have the same cultural relevance that hockey has in Finland so it’s nice to tap into that now and then and actually feel some kinship to my fellow men. I also like the fact that it’s not like soccer fandom where there’s a lot of superiority. But mostly I’ve just always gravitated towards hockey because it’s so fast-paced, visceral, and tactile. And scoring is hard enough that it’s pretty much always exciting. And how can you not love the symmetrical three-act structure of the periods.
