Silence of the Lambs may be a bit low, but that’s to be expected, since many people probably didn’t think to vote for it as a horror movie. Maybe because of genre bias, people see a movie that’s widely regarded as being great, and an Oscar winner, and it can’t possibly be in the same group as all these “silly” horror movies.
Frankenstein at number 46 is interesting, but I’m guessing that and Bride of Frankenstein split votes a bit. I expect Bride of Frankenstein to be higher, as it should be, it’s fantastic (even more so than the original, which is tough).
I’d love the podcast even more than I already do if you did more lists like this, love’em.
