Have either of you seen the documentary “Side By Side?” I saw it today and wondered if you have ever had an episode on the argument of film vs digital in cinema. It is a growing argument and becoming increasingly important.
It is part of a “changes in cinema series” from silent to sound, black and white to color and now from film to digital.
I loved Side by Side and would love to do an episode on that topic. I would kind of like to have a guest with more technical expertise to do it right, though.

I haven’t even listened to the rest of the episode yet, but Tyler is dead right about when the beginnings and ends of the seasons should be marked. Keep speaking truth to power, Tyler. I’m done suffering under the tyranny of, like, equinoxes and stuff.
Heh, Chicago and New York aren’t great drinking cities. A case could maybe be made for New Orleans. They’re alright, but you gotta have open containers and ability to finish your last bottle of beer on late-nite transportation to be great like Berlin, Prague, etc.
These are good points, for sure. Let’s say they’re among the best American drinking cities.

As for the episode….I think I misunderstood cause I kept waiting for the discussion of the Mark Harmon classic Summer School. Maybe that’s going to get a stand alone episode.
Between this comment and Twitter, I apparently need to add both Summer School and Goodburger to my to-watch list stat.
