Narrowing the focus to a single series of horror films, one could say that “Wes Craven’s New Nightmare” deconstructs the “A Nightmare on Elm Street” films. It’s definitely playful, and takes a few jabs at how absurd the concepts were. (It’s been a looong time since I’ve seen it though)
The more I think about NEW NIGHTMARE, the more I think it’s my favorite Freddy film.
Since no one has commented yet, I’m guessing there is no political talk this episode.
I’m not in the inner BP circle, but I’m loving the “…no one…” comment.
I swear when I posted that, there was no comment showing up. I apologize.
I loved all the talk about “Behind the Mask”. Now I want to watch it again!
I think I’m going to start a campaign to get David to watch the Paranormal Activity movies… if nothing else I think it will be funny to hear him rant about them!
