Kudos on the nomination of the score for Mad Max. I was very happy with the amount of Oscar nominations Mad Max received but I felt the score was very much deserving of acknowledgment as well.
Ugh these nominations are perfect. If only any other award show could have half as much sense
I agree. I think this list falls much more in line with general audience opinion than most of the big award nominations. I really like that Tangerine has a large showing, especially within the acting awards.
If anything, I’d take The Hateful Eight out of picture and put Brooklyn in… but we can’t have everything.
Those are some damn good nominations…..damn good coffee too.

Hey Tyler, this looks great! If you want more work for yourself have you considered turning this into a Google Form so that listeners can weigh in with their votes? It obviously wouldn’t influence the actual BP’s but it’d just be a fun aside to compare.
I think Jane Fonda is a shoo-in for the Bruce McGill award.
