Spike Jonze’s Her is actually my most anticipated for this fall 🙂 Glad to hear you liked Young Adult, I think that movie is totally overlooked for whatever reason. Looking forward to Jason Reitman’s new film and of course Nebraska as well!
I’m hesitantly excited about Ender’s Game. I love that book so much that my heart will be sad if it is a hot mess. All is Lost looks really good though, I love Cast Away so chances are I’ll love this too… but it will probably only solidify my fear of the ocean! 😉
1. tyler – if you are gonna say bayrn for the swiss city then you can’t say bur-lin for the german city you gotta say bayr-leen
2. david – people with the last name peirce don’t have it misspelled, because their last name isn’t pierce, like impaling a bit of armor, its peirce, like a woman’s handbag
Have you seen any Xavier Dolan films? get in early on this young fella cuz he’s so creative and he’s gonna be super big. His new film Tom At The Farm is doing the rounds at the mo.
I would suggest Heartbeats as the introduction but it’s Lawrence Anyways that’s his masterwork(so far).
Dolan is only 25 but you wouldn’t think it looking at his imdb page, he’s super talented.
On DELIVERY MAN: it is actually a remake of a film called STARBUCK from Quebec that is like the most successful French Canadian film ever – and it actually came out in the US this year. Overall, it was an okay movie, but pretty schmaltzy, certainly things that could be improved on. It was also more dramatic than you would take on from the plot description, so that might be interesting if they keep that for a Vince Vaughn movie. The remake is actually directed by the guy who made the original, so that is perhaps a good thing.
Rita reviewed the film for BP and it’s a good review.

So it’s mispronounced because it’s misspelled? Two wrongs don’t make a right.

I really enjoyed Starbuck but i cringe when i think of Vince Vaughn in the main role, i’m so tired of his fast talkin’ schtick #bah!
I had meant to mention Rita’s review of Starbuck when this came up. Now I’m kicking myself.

oh promise me you’ll improve
I lived in Terre Haute, IN for a few months. There is nothing interesting there. You can go ahead and mark it off of your bucket list.
