Binoche’s character was not the one who was in an X-Men type movie. That was instead Chloe Grace Moretz, and Kristen Stewart’s character defends that role while Binoche scoffs. At the end of the film I think Brady Corbet offers Binoche a role in a movie about werewolves or something though.
X-Men or not, Binoche’s character had definitely appeared in some sort of effects-heavy Hollywood blockbuster. A couple people even mention the character’s name at points in the movie.
