85. Fantasia (1940)

Fantasia is an argument for animation being an art form that needs to be considered apart from the stories it is used to tell. Sure, there are short narrative arcs through these pieces but they’re hardly necessary. It’s the pure visual dazzle that leaps off the screen. And, if you’re a young child, occasionally terrifies you.
