  1. Yup, it was Sherlock Jr. when Keaton broke his neck. I believe it was the water that really did it. Just as Tyler described, he leaves the top of the train, and he does it by grabbing onto a rope connected to a water tower, which lowers a big spout with him as he descends, releasing the water at such a high pressure that it basically threw him down onto the railroad track in a clumsy manor.

…and then anyone who hasn’t seen the picture should rewind and have an enjoyable 44 minutes. It is a great film, and this is a surprisingly sharp image for YouTube, with a decent score to boot.

About 12 years ago I had the fortune to meet MEK through a mutual friend at the Aero. The Apple was playing and she asked him to share his description of the movie, which he did: “It’s like a koala shitting a rainbow into your brain”.

Holy shit this guy was awesome. I’d LIVE another episode or few with him!
