Carl’s Jr. had a big ad campaign just a few years ago based on the premise that men can’t cook and get confused in the supermarket. I think Mr Mom would play just fine in 2018 in much of the country.
I played Danny (the little one-handed kid) in the Trial of Billy Jack. As you guys pointed out, that’s not at the top of most people’s the list of Billy Jack movies generally…so I was surprised to hear you both thought it was the best. I remember shooting the ‘massacre’ scene you mention very well. I have a lot of great memories, and the entire Laughlin family were very kind. Love Mr. Mom as well! Great podcast!
I do love the podcast, but I wish that David would stop covertly eating stuff during the show. At least be overt about it!
